     Edwin was an active member at the Academy of Science Fiction, Horror & Fantasy Films from 1997-1999.  He attended the Academy's 23rd annual Saturn Awards from a special invitation from the Academy's late founder, Dr. Donald A. Reed.

Alliance for Women In Media  (formerly American Women in Radio and Television, AWRT)    
     Edwin was an active member of the Southern California Chapter of American Women in Radio and Television (AWRT) from 1992-1996. He helped organize various committees such as the 1993 Industry Awards, the 1993 Celebrity Auction as well as the 1993 & 1994 Genii Awards.  Its Southern California Chapter invited Edwin to attend their 2010 Genii Awards at the Skirball Center as the event honored Mary Hart, Betty White and a host of others in both television and radio media.

Room To Improv          
     They has been entertaining audiences with its brand of improvisation.  Founded by Elvin Lubrin, Room To Improv seeks to create a space for Asian Americans to tell stories and to examine issues that are humorous to a diverse audience. They performed across the country at colleges and festivals as well as local hospitals and community events.

     We worked on Mad Cowgirl and Fade together and it was her performance that reinvigorated my passion for acting!
