The 33rd annual Los Angeles Asian Pacific Film Festival presented FILAM CREATIONS: A FILMMAKER MOVEMENT, a film initiative that inspires, motivates and mobilizes the Filipino-American and Filipino filmmaking community to create short films and share their artistic voice and storytelling. Once the ticket link was made available to the public, it was sold out in just one hour. Proving there is an audience demand to see FilAm films in America today. The ArtShare LA location where the premiere took place was to the point standing room only for a variety of Filipino American films to set off upcoming and future talent in the years to come. A second screening is TBD / TBA, but in the meantime, let's support all Filipino American works from acting to filmmaking to producing in all media.
